David's Page

Hi! I'm a dev out of NYC. I studied Math/CS in college, and spent a number of years as a high-frequency trader. You can find me on linkedin, though I'm not a huge content producer. I’m currently working on Jotter, a fast notepad extension for taking notes while you think. I care about climate, knowledge, and loneliness.

Past Projects (some sunset)

‣
Jotter, a chrome extension for quick and contextual notetaking.

You can get it here. Here’s a video:

‣
Re:format - a chrome extension for replying to gmail inline.

I spend a lot of my time in email. If the email gets long, I break up my response to address things point by point. The extension adds a button to your compose window, so you can highlight the responded-to text with your mouse, and press to quote.

You can get it here.

‣
Historia - a chrome extension that helps you find the last tabs you were using. [sunset]

I get a lot of tabs from time to time. This extension keeps track of which tabs yous pent time on. You hit alt-T to trigger the popup, and then you can select the tab to switch to.

‣
BookTime - Easy paid calendly, with no monthly minimum. [sunset]

Calendly works well but it lacks context, and doesn't maintain privacy, and takes more clicks to set up different meeting types. I made a site that makes it easier, and doesn't give your email away.

If you'd like to get in touch, you can reach me at itsdchen at the most likely email provider.
